2.5 Network Use Limitations
a. Our network and infrastructure are designed to meet the needs of our Customers and users in accordance with the conditions described in our Services, this AUP, our Terms and Conditions, and the rest of our Policies. b. The Customer agrees not to impose an excessive load on CPUs, our servers, or other associated resources, including our customer support service. Examples of activities that generate excessive load include, without limitation:
- Excessive server resource consumption: The use of a disproportionate amount of server resources, such as CPU and memory, by a site with high traffic volumes and/or poorly written code may be considered excessive load (e.g., a website with unoptimized scripts that consume significant resources).
- DDoS attacks: Attempting to launch a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack from a web hosting server places extreme load on the server and negatively affects other users.
- Bulk email sending: Sending bulk emails consumes a large amount of resources and jeopardizes our network's reputation, and is therefore not permitted.
- Intensive database use: Processing an excessive number of database queries in a short period of time.
- Using resources for non-website activities: Using the server for activities unrelated to hosting a website, such as storing large multimedia files or operating a file storage server, is not permitted.

c. The Customer understands that bandwidth, connection speeds, and other similar capacity metrics are maximum figures. Consistent use of these maximum values may result in the imposition of restrictions on the use of the Services, including the suspension or cancellation of their account or a reduction in available bandwidth, at our sole discretion. The Customer agrees to the imposition of restrictions on their use of the Services or customer support services to the extent that such use exceeds that of customers in a similar situation.
d. Webhosting accounts may use a maximum of six hundred thousand (600,000) inodes and ten (10) simultaneous HTTP connections to the server. Backups must be downloaded and deleted after creation.
e. Permitted use of the Services excludes streaming, storage of multimedia content, file and image sharing, storage and/or transmission of data and/or files unrelated to the website, and email accounts.
f. The size of databases hosted by the Customer must not negatively impact server performance. A maximum of 300 tables or 2 GB per database is established.
g. Reselling email services or using email as a means of file exchange (beyond the reasonable sending of attachments) is not permitted under any circumstances. Additionally, the email service included with our Webhosting service excludes its use for sending and storing emails with large attachments (greater than 5 MB).

Registros.com will act in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as any court orders, in its actions regarding the alleged violation. b. The notification obligation shall not apply to activities that constitute material violations of this AUP, the Registros.com Terms and Conditions, or associated Policies, or where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the activities are illegal and/or fraudulent in nature (e.g., scams, phishing, CSAM, malware distribution). In such cases, Registros.com reserves the right to report such activity to the competent authorities, together with all details and information associated with the account that engaged in it.
