Table of contents
1. Agreement Acceptance
a. By submitting a request to register or transfer a domain name through our platform, the Customer expressly accepts all the conditions set out in this Agreement. The Customer acknowledges that Registros.com operates under ICANN regulations and the specific policies of each registry for the different domain extensions. This Agreement incorporates by reference all applicable ICANN policies and the policies of the relevant registries.
b. Resellers acting as agents must communicate the registration conditions to the actual domain holders, who must authorize the reseller to manage the domains through Registros.com.
2. Domain Registration
a. Customers may submit requests to register available domains. Registros.com is not responsible for inaccurate information regarding domain availability, as the relevant registry ultimately determines whether registration is possible.
b. The Customer represents and warrants that they are authorized to register the requested domains. The company processes registration requests only upon receipt of payment but does not guarantee successful registration. Possible obstacles include: the domain becoming unavailable between payment and processing; the Customer's failure to meet the registry's requirements; connectivity issues with the registry database; or technical errors incorrectly displaying registered domains as available.
c. Registros.com may reject any registration request without cause and shall refund the associated payments. Once approved, Customers will manage their domains through their User Accounts.
3. Data Associated with the Domain Name
a. By submitting a domain registration or transfer request, the Customer authorizes Registros.com to transmit the necessary information to the relevant providers and regulatory entities in accordance with applicable privacy policies and regulations.
b. The Customer must provide complete and accurate registration data, including:
- Registrant name or company name, address, email, phone number
- DNS server information
- Administrative, technical, and billing contact details
c. The data required varies by domain extension depending on the policies of the relevant registry. Incomplete or false information may result in order cancellation.
d. Registros.com must provide registration data to the registries, which may publish information in the public WHOIS database in accordance with their policies and applicable privacy legislation. The Customer understands that international domain registries may offer lower privacy protection than that available in their country of origin.
e. The Customer consents to modifications by ICANN and registries regarding information disclosure requirements and waives any claim arising from such disclosure.
3.1 Data Accuracy Obligations
a. The Customer shall maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration data. Changes must be updated within seven (7) days through the domain control panel. This obligation includes responding to verification inquiries within ten (10) days.
b. Non-compliance constitutes a breach of the Agreement and may result in domain cancellation without right to a refund or compensation.
3.2 Registration Data Verification
a. Registros.com shall verify registrant email addresses within fifteen (15) days of registration. The Customer must confirm the verification messages sent to their registered email address.
b. Similarly, changes to registration data must be verified within fifteen (15) days. Non-compliance shall result in immediate domain suspension.
3.3 WHOIS Privacy and Trustee Services
a. For extensions that allow it, Registros.com offers privacy protection through providers Hosting Concepts B.V. and Key-Systems GmbH, masking registration data in WHOIS databases.
b. Some extensions require local representation (Trustee service), where the provider's data replaces the Customer's data. Registros.com may require Trustee services for certain registrations.
c. Privacy protection covers only WHOIS publication, not other discovery methods. The Customer may disable privacy protection at any time.
d. The Trustee service may be terminated, although this could disrupt domain management services. Registros.com will provide transfer instructions in the event of termination.
e. Domain holders retain full control and ownership rights. They assume full responsibility for the domain's registration and use, and shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Registros.com, its providers, partners, agents, directors, officers, and employees against any and all claims related to the domain registration, privacy services, or use of the domain.
f. Providers may suspend privacy/Trustee services and disclose Customer data in the following cases:
- Non-payment
- Breach of Agreement
- Legal demands from authorities
- Compliance with court orders
- Legal claims related to the domain
- Protection of services against financial loss
- Suspected illegal use of the domain (SPAM, malware distribution, illegal activities)
g. Privacy and Trustee services are not email forwarding services. Use of the service's contact data as an email alias is prohibited.
4. Domain Renewal
a. Domain registrations have specific validity periods. The Customer may extend registrations at any time before the renewal date through their account. If registries limit extension periods, Registros.com will carry out successive renewals until the contracted term is reached.
b. Some extensions (such as .ar and .br) have renewal dates that fall before expiration dates. This difference ensures adequate processing before expiration. Registros.com does not guarantee renewal once the renewal date has passed. If renewal is requested after the deadline, the Customer will be informed about restoration ("Restore") procedures and the associated conditions.
c. Registros.com will send up to four (4) renewal reminder emails to the Customer's registered email address: the first thirty (30) days before the renewal date, and the last one (1) day before. Non-receipt due to issues with the Customer's email account shall not constitute a failure on the part of Registros.com.
d. After the renewal period expires without renewal having taken place, the Customer will lose all rights to the domain. Registros.com provides no guarantee of renewal or reassignment.
e. The Customer is ultimately responsible for timely renewal. Registros.com assumes no liability for renewal failures, including technical errors. The consequences of non-renewal include: loss of rights to the domain (making registration by third parties possible), additional recovery costs, and service interruptions.
f. On occasion, domains may be renewed after the deadline through "Restore" procedures in accordance with each TLD's specifications. The Customer will be informed of the conditions, and Restore processes require the Customer's approval.
g. Restore procedures may require manual handling and can take between 24 hours and 7 days to complete.
h. The Customer may activate "Auto-renewal," which generates invoices thirty (30) days before renewal dates. Registros.com will attempt to process payment fifteen (15) days before the renewal date. Renewal will occur only upon successful payment. The Customer shall keep payment information up to date and ensure the availability of the payment method. Non-renewal due to payment errors attributable to the Customer is the Customer's sole responsibility.
5. Transfers and Changes of Registrant
5.1 Domain Transfers
a. Customers requesting transfer from other providers confirm that they are authorized to manage the domain. Following the transfer, registrants must review and correct the registration data as necessary.
b. Registros.com reserves the right to reverse unauthorized transfers or transfers involving illegal activities or suspected fraud.
c. Customers requesting the transfer of domains to third parties confirm that the recipient has expressly accepted the transfer and the terms of the Agreement. Registros.com may refuse transfers lacking documented acceptance.
d. Domain transfers are prohibited during the first sixty (60) days following: initial registration, domain transfer, or change of registrant. This restriction may be waived if the relevant registry permits it.
5.2 Changes of Registrant
a. All changes of registrant shall comply with the ICANN Transfer Policy. Registros.com shall refuse requests for changes of registrant in the following cases:
- Expired agreements where previous registrants lack renewal/transfer rights
- Lack of authorization from both parties (current registrant and new registrant)
- Domains subject to disputes (UDRP, URS, TDP, revocation proceedings, court orders)
b. Changes of registrant require authorization from both parties -- the current registrant and the new registrant -- within sixty (60) days of the request.
c. The Customer expressly authorizes Registros.com to act as "Designated Agent" for the approval of registrant modifications in accordance with ICANN requirements.
d. The Customer must inform the new registrant of the conditions of the Agreement. The new registrant, by accepting, confirms having read and agreed to this Agreement, the Registros.com Terms and Conditions, and the applicable policies.
e. Registros.com reserves the right to refuse or reverse changes of registrant upon reasonable suspicion of fraud or illegal activity.
6. Pricing and Payments
a. Payment must be received prior to processing any registration, transfer, or renewal request. The Customer accepts the fees published at the time the order is placed.
b. Registros.com may void and refund payments upon reasonable suspicion of fraud and will cancel the corresponding orders.
c. Payments for registration, renewal, transfer, or Restore are non-refundable, even in cases of typographical errors, breaches of the Agreement, domain disputes, or provider transfers.
d. Registros.com reserves the right to modify registration, renewal, transfer, Restore, and associated service fees at any time. Price changes affecting contracted Services require a minimum of fourteen (14) days' prior notice.
e. Published fees do not apply to renewals after the renewal deadline. If processing costs exceed estimates, Registros.com will contact the Customer offering the option of paying the additional costs or cancelling the order with a refund.
f. Some domains may be classified as "Premium" by the responsible TLD, with significantly higher registration fees. The Customer will be informed of Premium domain costs and confirmation will be required before processing.
g. Payment cancellations, chargebacks, or suspected fraud entitle Registros.com to immediately terminate services and cancel user accounts, resulting in the immediate loss of all rights to the services, including domain ownership.
h. In the event of erroneous chargebacks, Registros.com may offer service restoration upon payment of the outstanding amounts plus USD 35 in administrative costs.
i. Registros.com accepts only: credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.
7. Disputes
a. The Customer must resolve domain disputes in accordance with the applicable dispute policies of the registry or ICANN, incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
b. The Customer must review and confirm their acceptance of the applicable dispute policies prior to registration or transfer.
c. The Customer accepts that Registros.com may be required to lock, suspend, cancel, or transfer domains in accordance with the decisions of administrative panels under the applicable dispute policies.
8. Privacy
a. The Privacy Policy (available at the link) is incorporated into this Agreement.
9. Cancellation and Termination of Service
a. Registration agreements apply individually; cancellation of a domain extinguishes the Agreement solely for that domain.
b. Registration or transfer may be rejected or cancelled at any time for: breach of this Agreement, non-compliance with the Registros.com Terms and Conditions, violation of ICANN/registry policies, or non-compliance with applicable law.
c. Customers wishing to cancel a domain must contact customer support through their account or disable "Auto-renewal" so that domains are cancelled on the renewal date.
d. Domain registration services must not be used for purposes that conflict with this Agreement, the Registros.com Terms and Conditions, provider regulations, ICANN policies, or applicable law. Non-compliance will result in service cancellation without right to a refund or compensation.
e. Registros.com may take reasonable measures necessary to safeguard the operation and security of its systems, including the suspension or cancellation of registrations that compromise service stability through SPAM, malware, viruses, Trojans, or similar malicious software.
f. Contracting services that facilitate the following practices constitutes a breach of the Agreement, resulting in immediate cancellation of the account and services, including all domain ownership rights:
- Operating or distributing botnets, phishing activities, spreading viruses/malware
- Hosting or distributing illegal or allegedly illegal content
- Offering, selling, or advertising products that infringe applicable law (weapons, pharmaceutical products)
- Intentional infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
- Hosting, distributing, or publishing pornographic content
- Engaging in fraudulent practices (phishing, scams)
- Payment cancellations, chargebacks, or allegedly fraudulent payment methods
g. When Registros.com reasonably suspects that a domain is involved in prohibited practices, it will notify the Customer. The Customer will have five (5) business days to remedy the issue.
h. Registros.com will forward complaints relating to domains to Customers, requiring a response within five (5) business days via abuse@registros.com. Failure to respond, combined with evidence supporting the legitimacy of the complaint, will grant Registros.com the authority to take corrective action.
10. Limitation of Liability
a. Registros.com will not be liable for damages arising from this Agreement or from the services offered, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. This includes:
- Data loss
- Direct or indirect damages
- Special, exemplary, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, loss of revenue, business opportunities, or search engine rankings
b. The Customer acknowledges that the limitation of liability is confined to cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct; damages that do not fall within these categories are not the responsibility of Registros.com.
c. Registros.com does not control all aspects of registration and is subject to the actions of providers, registries, and ICANN. Accordingly, Registros.com will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profits, lost opportunities, sales, or search engine rankings, arising from: inaccurate information regarding domain status; errors in the processing of registration/renewal/transfer; domain inactivity/expiration; DNS errors; service suspensions; or breaches of the Agreement.
d. Claims must be submitted within one (1) year from the event giving rise to them; otherwise, such claims shall be deemed waived.
e. The maximum total liability of Registros.com, regardless of the form of action or theory of recovery, shall in no event exceed the amounts paid for the disputed service/product during the preceding 12 months.
f. If applicable jurisdiction does not permit such a broad exclusion of liability, the exclusion will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law and will remain in effect after the termination of the Agreement or the services.
11. Indemnification
a. The Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless Registros.com, its employees, agents, partners, and affiliates against third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, demands, actions, proceedings, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: use of the domain through Registros.com; breaches of the Agreement; or the Customer's acts or omissions. This indemnification will survive the termination or expiration of the Agreement.

b. This Agreement, including the referenced policies (ICANN regulations, registry policies), together with the Registros.com Terms and Conditions and the policies and agreements referenced therein, constitutes a single unified agreement.
14. Severability
a. If any clause of the Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law or a judicial ruling, the remainder of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect. The clause will be replaced by a similar, valid, and enforceable clause that fulfills, to the greatest extent possible, the original objectives and intentions.
